Accom details:

Has got two showers (one separate from Ladies, the other in the Gents). Trick is to leave a hot tap running somewhere while you take a shower otherwise you get boiled alive. Kitchen is good but a bit small. Has large catering cooker and a fridge freezer which is shared by other users so we just put our unit just outside the kitchen. Has microwave, big sinks and endless hot water. Quite a bit of parking round the back. Very safe, very quiet village. Has three main rooms one for eating, a smaller one that will sleep 10ish and a larger one that will sleep 20ish plus stage. Nice hall BUT it is used by others so you often have to leave the smaller room clear during the day. They are usually happy for the cook to work during the day BUT they will need to share the kitchen. This is actually one of my favourite halls ever – MKP.

Nearest Showers: In the gents!

Nearest Supermarkets/shops: Good medium sized Co-op in village, excellent large Co-op in Highworth and large Sainsburys on A420 just before Swindon. Very good butcher in Highworth.

Nearest Station: Train is Swindon (signposted), no idea about Coach

Nearest Pubs: The Eagle just round the corner, basic pub – not a great range of beers but plenty of room. Fantastic pubs all over this part of the country (Kings Head in Shrivenham has WiFi).

Nearest Chippy: Highworth?

Nearest Cinema: Head into Swindon on A420 go straight on under the A419 its off the next roundabout as you enter Swindon (Greenpark ind. estate?)

Nearest Swimming Pool: ?

Evening Entertainment Possibilities: Go to the White Horse at Uffington, or visit Avebury.

Any Other Useful Details: Good. Hall keeper is an absolute love. She’s called Betty.
